ROPERTY DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
A Property Disclosure Statement is a written statement disclosing the conditions of the
property. Anyone involved in selling Real Estate, including For Sale By
Owners should utilize this document. This seller, by using this form, will provide a "disclosure", to the buyer
at the time of signing a Contract of Sale Agreement. The buyer during
the three day Attorney-Review period, can then revoke their offer based on the "disclosure."
The form is designed to protect both the buyer, by providing a record of any defects or potential problems; and the seller, from any future liability as a result of defects discovered after the closing of a transaction.
If you live in the Monmouth County area, Saymark Realtors can provide you with a set to complete. If you would like more information about this procedure, please contact me.
